Multiply total wagered by (1 − RTP). At 96% RTP, wagering $1,000 has an expected cost of $40. That is a long-run average: single sessions land far above or below it, but the average is what you pay for the hobby over time.
How unlikely is a 300-spin dry spell?
It depends on the hit rate. At one feature per 200 spins, going 300 spins without one has probability (1 − 1/200)^300 ≈ 22%, so it happens to roughly one player in five. Long droughts are a normal property of independent spins, not evidence a game is "cold."
What is a good realized RTP for bonus buys?
Over a small sample, almost anything: 10 buys is nowhere near enough for the math to settle, and swings from 40% to 300% realized RTP are routine. The theoretical bonus-buy RTP printed in the game info panel (usually close to base-game RTP) is the number your average converges toward.
